The Swine boss resides in the Warrens dungeon. A Crusader would be good as well, since his Smite ability hits Unholy monsters very hard, and the Necromancer is an Unholy enemy. A Hellion is also considered a good character to bring, as she has a stun that will almost always stun the Necromancer. It's recommended that when you fight him, you have characters that can pull him back to the frontline, as his attacks spawn a Bone Soldier enemy in the slot in front of him, and force him to move back a space.įor this reason, taking a Bounty Hunter, Occultist, or multiples of the aforementioned characters is advised, so that if he does get multiple skeletons, you can just pull him back to the front. This is considered the one of the more balanced of bosses, as he isn't too difficult (if you prepare yourself well enough) but isn't the easiest. However, you can ignore the soldiers, but it becomes far more likely you will lose party members. The Necromancer is one of the bosses of the Ruins dungeon. You may be able to pile DoTs onto him, but its less likely than the other bosses as you need to keep his minions dead. Preferably, have a strong forward character than can 1-shot the soldiers, allowing the rest of the team to pile damage on the boss, or throw a heal if needed. Simply continue killing the soldiers while dealing damage to the boss. A very steady approach to this boss is optimal. It is not recommended to allow those to live. The Necromancer Apprentice is the first boss located in the Ruins.ĭeals moderate damage to the back two heroes and spawns a Bone Soldier in front of the Necromancer Apprentice.ĭeals moderate damage to the front two heroes and spawns a Bone Soldier in front of the Necromancer Apprentice.ĭeals low damage to all heroes and increases their stress spawns a Bone Soldier in front of the Necromancer Apprentice.Īll of his attacks summon a Bone Soldier into position 1.
